It’s now a week since the green, amber and red travel lists were reviewed.
Portugal was removed from the green list and downgraded to amber, while Egypt was switched from amber to red.
Reviews are due on Thursday July 15, Thursday August 5 and Thursday August 26. In the last two updates, the travel lists were changed on the Thursday and implemented the following Tuesday, which can mean people on holiday have to cut their breaks short to beat the quarantine cut-off.
More than 250 countries are analysed by the JBC.
