Earlier this week, the government agency announced in a Facebook post that the conservation officers “must have the ability to hike in strenuous conditions, have the courage to crawl into a bear den, and have the trust in your coworkers to keep you safe during the process”.
This was part of a research project in Northern New Mexico and all bears were handled safely under supervision.
As per a report in New York Post, the applicants would require a background in natural resource conservation, biological sciences, or a related field.
