The woman, 85, was apparently injured as a result of gunfire from a fight involving a large group of juveniles in the Safeway parking lot across Market Street at about 4:50 p.m.
He wasn’t working at the time, but said he was told that the woman suffered cuts to her face, chin and hands and was taken to the hospital.
