The car drove to a residence on Lisa Crescent, Coomera, where a man allegedly exited the BMW and got into a Mazda sedan.
Police continued to monitor the white BMW until it arrived at a service station on Creek Road, Carindale.
The Woodrige man was charged with one count each of unlawful use of motor vehicle, holder of licence failed to comply with the requirements, must not drive unless L plates displayed and breach of bail.
