PHILADELPHIA – Sixers forward Danny Green has been in the league for 12 seasons and has experienced a lot, including three NBA titles.
If we’re going to play like the number one team in the East, or a championship contender, or a team that wants to be the last team standing with the potential we can play, we need to do a lot better.
“I guess it is human nature, but as a mature team, we need to begin starting and finishing games throughout the duration of the game, staying locked in and be more focused, Green said.
The veteran forward said he had experienced stretches like the one the Sixers are currently going through, where teams were able to get some ugly wins despite not playing at their highest level.
“At this point, it’s more so about us getting better each day and each game and not worrying about other teams,” Green said.
