According to The Associated Press, 24-year-old Biles, a seven-time national champion, dominated the trials with a 118.098 two-day score – despite a fall on the balance beam Sunday – to clinch her spot on the four-member U.S.
Fifth-place finisher MyKayla Skinner, 24, who logged a score of 112.264, will compete as an individual in the Olympics, as will 21-year-old Jade Carey, who clinched her individual spot via the World Cup series, the AP reported.
