Shelterlink expansion to help domestic violence shelters collaborate – Calgary Herald

With help from a $200,000 grant from the provincial government through the Civil Society Fund, FearIsNotLove and YW Calgary will lead this collaboration and enhance the use of Shelterlink across the local sector.

The app was originally launched about three years ago at the beginning of the pandemic to improve communication between emergency shelters.

This kind of data sharing enables every shelter to become an entry point for domestic violence victims even if a shelter stay isn’t required.
