The lawsuit comes after Baldwin fired a weapon during rehearsal last month that contained a live round, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
Hutchins, 42, was airlifted to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Svetnoy, who served as the chief lighting technician on set, was struck by “discharge materials” from the fatal blast, noting he was narrowly missed by the bullet, according to the lawsuit.
