issued a recall Friday for certain lots of its Batch Ice Cream brand vanilla, ginger and mocha chip flavors that may be contaminated with listeria.
The containers include the following UPC numbers: 837654968505 for vanilla, 83765496856 for ginger and 83765496853 for mocha chip, the release said.
Royal Ice Cream said it learned of the problem when FDA testing found listeria monocytogenes on processing equipment, the release said.
Customers who purchased the recalled items should return them to the store for a refund, according to the release.
