REAL SCOOP: Brothers Keepers gangster shot to death in Burnaby mall lot

The gangster, Jaskeert Kalkat, was gunned down in the parking lot of the Market Crossing Mall at Marine Way and Byrne Road about 8:30 p.m.

A day later Anees Mohammed, 29 and a key player in the Wolfpack gang was shot to death in Steveston Park in – likely in retaliation.

The violence ramped up again in April with the murder of Brothers Keepers Harb Dhaliwal outside Cardero’s restaurant on the 17th, then the slaying of long-time UN gangster Todd Gouwenberg in Langley on April 20.

On May 8, Toni Dalipi, 19, was shot to death outside a Burnaby vape store.
