Your Green Package is run by President Christopher Fevry and Chief of Staff Lourdharry Pauyo.
“Everything about us is we want to be able to serve the community.
The three-person management team, including Fevry, Pauyo and Ruthney Benjamin, the head of delivery, are all Haitian.
The couple hopes to start delivery in early July and is waiting for the state Cannabis Control Commission to issue a notice to commence operations.
They have a fleet of seven vehicles and are hiring staff.
While Your Green Package has an office in Bellingham, the deliveries will go out in Greater Boston and in the Pioneer Valley, near NETA’s locations in Brookline and Northampton, respectively.
When the driver gets to the address, they’ll check ID, process the transaction and go on to the next delivery.
Fevry said they talked to many retailers about a partnership.
“Honestly, I think that’s one of the reasons we’re so excited about delivery,” Pauyo said.
The COVID-19 pandemic seems to have amplified the convenience and health and safety of a delivery option.
“This is something that people need.
NETA is partnering with Your Green Package exclusively for a year, with the possibility of renewal, according to Blake Dow, the vice president of product management and digital commerce for Parallel, the parent company of NETA.
