Gilford, New Hampshire Police Chief Anthony J.
The warrant, which the department made public on May 25, charges Warner with two Class A misdemeanor counts of simple assault, the Bangor Daily News reported.
According to a Facebook post by the Gilford Police Department on May 25, the warrant was issued after an alleged incident at the amphitheater.
“This misdemeanor claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm,” King said in a statement.
Police said the videographer, was contracted to film the concert when she was assaulted, the Daily News reported.
Burpee said that if Warner surrenders within the next few weeks, his initial court appearance in New Hampshire would probably be held in mid-August, the Daily News reported.
