Her Highness, a luxury cannabis brand with operations in several states in the United States, has announced that they will be expanding into both Canada and Mexico.
Founded by serial-entrepreneurs Laura Eisman and Allison Krongard, Her Highness claims to be purpose-driven with a mission to educate women on the benefits of cannabis through a suite of sophisticated products.
Diving deeper into the emerging legal California market at the time, we found that not only was cannabis culture less than welcoming for women, but the effects did not originate from a motivation to make women feel good.
We are solidly on the course we put forth in our last Forbes interview – we have grown Her Highness’ THC presence from a single state, California, into three states, with three more in contract, plus an international partner, all to launch by the end of 2021.
We’ve expanded beyond California dispensaries into Nevada and Massachusetts, we’re in production for Her Highness launches in Colorado and Canada, in contract to launch THC in Ohio and Pennsylvania later this year, as well as Canada and in negotiations for several other states.
We reinvented the pre roll to be more useful, elegant, and joyful to a female user – a long 40mm crutch so our fingers don’t touch the weed, Couch-lock is not our idea of a good time, but high functioning, happy and low munchies are.
AK: If you look inside our gold pre-roll boxes, you’ll find extra long crutch pre-rolls that protect your lashes and gel manicures, filled with euphoric, low munchie flower and a beautiful gold lighter.
This intimate topical is a unique product that announces loud and clear the level of pleasure we are able to make available to women.
AK: Our Power Puff, kief laced pre-rolls and Pleasure Oil would be the 2 most consistent sellers across all states we’re in, however, the new Bar Cart gummies that will launch in MA and NV are delicious and super fun as well as our Enjoy-Mints which will be sold in all states.
That said, the strategy to become a household name as a traditional brand goes to pot when building it within an industry that is federally illegal.
This strategy allows us to reach fame as a traditional brand, attract the canna-curious early on and nurture their experience with Her Highness even before THC products become available in their state.
AK: We built this company with the intention of expanding across the US and Canada as quickly as possible, or as the demand we hoped for made it possible.
Nevada attracts massive national and international clientele with plenty of visitors from California who would be the first to recognize our brand from home.
This expansion plan set the frame work for us to fill in states quickly with good stories on each coast and proof of international interest.
LE: Absolutely! We had a goal to bring cannabis to women, under their terms, and the constant validation from our customers is what continually drives and inspires me to push it even further.
However, the truth is, all of my award-winning designs and patented products came to me when my mind was wide open to them.
Not only would it be a tragedy to hide a Her Highness product deep in your closet, but the memorable experience is one to share with friends.
Our Thigh High rolling tray is a stunning statement piece for any coffee table with its pop-art brass kicky legs accenting each corner.
AK: Abolishing the stigma of cannabis use is intrinsic to our mission so we’ve taken great care to weave thought changing principles in our design.
We designed our Lit For A Queen preroll packages with To: and From: spaces on the back to normalize the idea of sharing cannabis.
