Keady Market returning after two year absence | Owen Sound Sun Times

With mandatory gathering restrictions and most other public health requirements in the rear-view mirror, soon people will stroll through the popular local outdoor farmers’ market again.

In peak season, the market draws thousands of people, Wardrop said.

“We are looking to come back and hopefully be as strong as we have in the past,” she said.

The Keady Market has had 300 vendors at the height of the season.

That’s reliably every Tuesday from June through September but vendors may set up on any other Tuesday throughout the year when there’s a livestock sale, particularly in good weather, Wardrop said.

The separate livestock sales market ran all through the pandemic, as it was deemed an essential service.

There was a Facebook stream of the sales, which sellers could watch.
