Police on Wednesday identified the two girls as Destiny Hogan, 9, and Daysha Hogan, 7, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
“I got near it, and I said, ‘It’s a little girl,’” Lawana Johnson, who found the body, told the television station.
I have never seen anything like that before in my life,” the man told the television station.
Police did not say where Tinessa Hogan was on Wednesday, although they conceded she was “not out in the community,” the newspaper reported.
Bigwood said the girls’ father, Darren Hogan, 42, had been estranged from the family for years, WPLG reported.
