Green Lantern is one of my all time favorite superheroes, and since it was announced, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any news related to the Green Lantern series coming to HBO Max.
He’s got something of an abrasive personality, oftentimes being portrayed as the quintessential macho 80s-dude, which is apparently the version they’ll be going for.
Green Lantern reinvents the classic DC property through a story spanning decades and galaxies, beginning on Earth in 1941 with the very first Green Lantern, secretly gay FBI agent Alan Scott, and 1984, with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner and half-alien Bree Jarta.
Not much to go on, but as a diehard GL fan, my mind is reeling at the possibilities.
