Meanwhile, health officials are continuing their efforts to get as many Montrealers vaccinated as possible.
Specifically, Montreal public health hopes to vaccinate another 13,454 people in the 12-17 age group; nearly 25,000 people in the 18-24 age group; nearly 17,000 in the 25-29 age group; and just under 15,000 in the 30-34 age group.
Bélanger said over the next little while, vaccination vans will start to pop up in various communities with high infection rates and low vaccination rates — such as the one recently deployed by the CIUSSS West-Central in collaboration with Jean Coutu.
