This initiative has been funded by the Real Estate Foundation of BC and the Pacific Salmon Foundation, with in-kind contributions from the CVRD, Town of Qualicum Beach, Green Shores Local Government Working Group, and Green Shores Technical Advisory Committee.
“Within the Comox Valley, the Gartley Beach neighbourhood was chosen as the pilot study area for this initiative given its natural shoreline,” said Alana Mullaly, General Manager of Planning and Development.
Participation in the public information session will provide an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for waterfront property owners exploring green shores methods and how they might work in the Gartley Beach neighbourhood in Royston.
