A driver from Bedfordshire who got behind the wheel after smoking cannabis has been jailed for killing a teenager by crashing into a lorry.
Norman, of Foster Way, Wootton, failed a roadside drugs test and was arrested.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collisions Investigation Unit found that Norman did not steer or brake to avoid the crash.
DC Neil Crosier, who led the investigation, said: “I cannot imagine the anguish and hurt that Thomas Smith’s loved ones have felt and my heart goes out to them.
