Hackett, formerly the offensive coordinator of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, is also about to be joined on the Broncos’ coaching staff by someone that he is very familiar with, according to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports.
Tyrone Wheatley will inherit a running back group that features the up-and-coming Javonte Williams. Running back Melvin Gordon is set to become a free agent, but whether he returns to Denver or leaves Mile High City, Wheatley will have at least one promising stud to work with.
Of course, there remains the question under center for the Broncos, as they continue to get linked to Aaron Rodgers.
