Free agent forward/center Jeff Green has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Denver Nuggets, his agent Jason Glushon of @GlushonSM tells ESPN.
He was an integral piece to what Brooklyn hoped to accomplish last year, and he will bring much of the same to the Nuggets: veteran leadership, scoring off the bench, and switchability on the defensive end.
Jeff Green adds to that mix as a versatile forward who can slide down and play a small ball center spot from time to time.
It appears that the Nuggets are trending toward moving on from veteran bigs Paul Millsap and JaVale McGee.
With Green on board, the Nuggets are hoping to add an additional element of mobility and outside shooting that they didn’t have from their regular rotation last year.
