BeInCrypto has taken a look at on-chain metrics for bitcoin , Dormancy, and Spent Output Age Bands.
CDD measures the number of days a coin is unspent before a transaction occurs.
While the former measures the total amount of days destroyed on a specific day, dormancy measures the average age of each coin that is moved.
Interestingly, dormancy has been decreasing since April 15, showing no upticks whatsoever.
In the image below, the light orange color notes coins that were created one day to one week prior, while the darker orange relates to those created one week to one month ago.
