In addition to picking up produce, meats, dairy and baked goods, at the Lewisburg Farmers Market, visitors can now kick back and enjoy an alcoholic beverage, play a game of Jenga and by sit by Limestone Run, thanks to Wednesday’s opening of the new outdoor ‘Neighborhood Biergarten’ on the property at 499 Fairground Rd.

The Rusty Rail Brewing Company of Mifflinburg and Civil War Cider Company of Lewisburg, and Whispering Oaks Vineyard of Sunbury will be there all summer to offer beverages for sale.
“The chamber is really excited to see businesses opening back up, and we are thrilled to be here,” said Vanessa Venios, director of communications, GSVCC.
“We love doing things for our community, and this was a space that was underutilized,” said Steibe of the creekside venue.
“We want families to feel comfortable putting down a blanket and having a picnic lunch.
