For the second time in their series against the New York Rangers, the Pittsburgh Penguins have managed to find the back of the net at least four times after destroying the Rangers in a 7-4 Game 3 victory at home Saturday night.
Shesterkin had to be pulled by the Rangers in the second period of Game 3, as they instead opted to go with Alexandar Georgiev.
Back in New York’s Game 1’s 4-1 overtime loss, the Rangers played at home but Shesterkin allowed three goals in the second period.
Shesterkin remains to be the Rangers’ best player, but he’ll have to start getting it together with another game in Pittsburgh coming up on Monday.
