The International Energy Agency came out with a report saying to reach net-zero by 2050, CCUS has to be part of the overall strategy.
The federal government’s CCUS tax credit offers investment into three areas: 1) a 60 per cent tax credit for projects capturing from air, 2) a 50 per cent tax credit for projects capturing CO2 from other sources, and 3) a 37.5 per cent tax credit for transportation, storage and use projects.
You will have access to some of the lowest cost feedstocks in the world and you will have access to pour space to capture CO2.
