Vincent and Goodenough said the facility, largely screened from the road, will employ about a dozen workers, preference will be given to Becket residents, and insisted the facility will have sufficient odor-reduction technology.

Greenwald made the point that if the board closed the public hearing, then it could no longer receive material from the applicant.
