Under the partnership, announced late yesterday, PCC customers now can place e-grocery orders directly through the grocer’s page on the Shipt’s online marketplace and the Shipt mobile app.
After filling their virtual cart, PCC customers schedule a delivery time, and Shipt personal shoppers pics, pack and deliver their grocery orders in as soon as one hour.
“PCC is committed to providing exceptional products and experiences for our customers, whether that’s in our stores or getting our trusted products delivered to their door,” Darrell Vannoy, senior vice president of merchandising and marketing at PCC Community Markets, said in a statement.
A certified organic retailer, PCC operates 16 stores in Washington, with a focus on natural, sustainable and better-for-you products and foodservice.
“We’re excited to partner with PCC to bring locally sourced, authentic and fresh ingredients from the Pacific Northwest directly to our customers’ doors,” commented Rina Hurst, chief business officer at Birmingham, Ala.-based Shipt.
