Heyday acquires and incubates brands in large marketplaces like Amazon, helping to accelerate the business through its platform by using data and expertise in areas like operations and marketing.
The marketplace aggregation space has grown rapidly this year.
The company has 15 brands on its platform currently—all operating in the Amazon ecosystem—and Rymarz said while Heyday will continue to make acquisitions, it will only do one or two a month, fewer than most of its competitors.
Heyday focuses on the spaces of functional home, lifestyle and personal care, with each brand having on average of about $15 million in revenue, Rymarz added.
