Two Instagram influencers were censured on social media after one of them painted a blue surgical mask on the other’s face and visited a supermarket in Indonesia’s Bali in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
After a video of their act went viral on social media, Josh Paler Lin and Leia Se said that it was a prank that both played so as to entertain their fans and followers, Newsweek reports.
However, screenshots and clips from the video are now doing the rounds of the internet and have gone viral.
One of the customers at the market, in fact, also asked Leia whether she was indeed wearing a real mask.
“Your exclusive prank will not be so exclusive anymore,” an excerpt from Niluh Djelantik’s post reads.
