Around one and a half kg of gold, diamonds and Rs 3 lakh were stolen from a goldsmith’s shop in Sector 23 by its employee on the intervening night of June 26 and 27.
The police said the suspect left his mobile phone at the shop and fled away on a motorcycle.
The incident came to light in the morning when the employees found that they were locked from outside and Aakash was missing.
