Dallan Hayden, four-star RB, makes Ohio State his 18th birthday gift

He announced the decision in the form of a video highlight reel of his football journey on Twitter.

From donning the black uniform to the iconic scarlet and grey, it was a perfect fit.

During his visit, Hayden accumulated crystal balls from Ohio State insider Bill Kurelic and Notre Dame Insider Tom Loy, furthering belief that he was on the verge of making the move.

Singleton canceled an OSU visit, choosing Alabama over Ohio State for an official the final weekend in June.

“Dallan is a good dude,” Alston said back in May.

The 5-foot-11, 195 pounder has instantly drawn comparisons to Master Teague, and for good reason.

After tallying just 600 rushing yards as a sophomore, Hayden exploded with 234 carries for 2,010 yards and 24 touchdowns in his junior campaign.

In his commitment video, he talked about living in the shadow of his father, former Tennessee RB and NFL player Aaron Hayden.

The Fighting Irish, who have three rostered RBs and one commit , tried to convince Hayden that his path would be clearer than through Ohio State’s logjam.
