Housing market remains steady amid reopening

Supply remains near historic lows locally while national inventory remains much lower than it was at the same time last year.

The price range that tended to sell the quickest was the $150,001 to $200,000 range at 65 days; the price range that tended to sell the slowest was the $100,001 to $150,000 range at 77 days.

This inventory decline has been predicted by NAR; however, these numbers continue to uphold the strong sellers’ market which has gripped the industry.

In Northwest Ohio, the median home price in May 2021 was $155,850 – down slightly from April 2021, but substantially higher than April 2020 .
