Green Bay Packers’ Coach Matt LaFleur Tells Jordan Love, ‘Prepare Like You’re The Starter’

“It’s the same message it’s been all the time is you’re only one play away,” said LaFleur, the Packers’ third-year head coach.

If neither side blinks, Love very well could be the Packers’ Week 1 starter in New Orleans on Sept.

“One thing we talked about after Tuesday’s practice is, ‘Hey man, you’re going to have some great days and you’re going to have some days that aren’t as great.

Love, the 26th pick in the 2020 draft, had a truncated offseason during his rookie year due to COVID-19.

“I think Jordan came in with the right mindset,” LaFleur said.
