Can cannabis mitigate the anxiety and pain of lobsters about to be cooked?

Charlotte Gill, owner of Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound in Maine, gained notoriety for hotboxing a lobster named Roscoe that was later released back into the ocean for his service.

Unfortunately for the lobsters, getting baked did little to reduce the misery of being boiled.

“Vapor exposure of lobsters… produces dose-dependent THC levels in all tissues and reduces locomotor activity,” the study states.
