Syfy and USA Network, where Rovner and Berwick take over for Chris McCumber, will share scripted originals including the previously announced live-action scripted Chucky series.

In addition to growing Peacock, Rovner and Berwick are tasked with keeping the lights on across NBCU’s cable portfolio at a time when audiences continue to cut the cord and shift viewing habits to streaming platforms. NBCU, it’s worth noting, was the first company to close up shop for one of its cable networks, announcing earlier this year that NBC Sports Network would shut down by year’s end.
