It’s taken way too long, I have close to 150 hours into Outriders, I’m guessing, and have only just reached this point with two out of my four characters.
There is nothing in the base campaign or world tier system that is good to meaningfully farm in any capacity.
CT 14 will have level 49 enemies, and if you’ve at least unlocked CT 15, you have access to level 50 gear through upgrades or vendors.
Upgrading a drop from CT 14 from 49 to 50 is not that big of a deal.
Maybe in a few of the easiest Expeditions like Archways of Enoch you could go CT 15 because gold is much easier to hit, but for others, it’s often right on the line, and you are going to want the extra speed CT 14 gives you.
CT 15 is the only place you can play Eye of the Storm, the final Expedition, but there’s literally zero reason to farm that over anything else, plus it has the absurd entry cost of 40,000 drop pod resources a run.
After just a few days of farming CT 14 where legendaries have finally started to drop with some consistency, I’ve gotten a ton of guns I’ve been after and am finally able to start putting together actual armor sets .
Until some drop rate adjustments are made or the campaign scales up to higher levels, CT 13-14 farming seems to be where it’s at.
This is not how Outriders should be, it should not take this long to reach this point and it should not be this narrow of a band.
