That means that while people will still have to wear masks indoors except when seated with their parties — which can now be up to 10 people — at a restaurant, other public health COVID-19 restrictions will loosen.

For a restaurant, then, tables must be distanced by 6 feet but the establishments can otherwise operate at full capacity.

Pitkin County Commissioner Greg Poschman, who serves on the board of health, echoed Peacock’s enthusiasm, as well as his vigilance.
